North Woods Survival SkillsWe offer guided tours and lessons statewide year round. Activities and location depends on local trail/water conditions.
The people of New Hampshire have worked hard to keep many acres of land wild and open to the public for recreational use. Some of these areas are preserves for wildlife and others are managed forests. Many people take advantage of the opportunity to be outside all year long. The fresh air beckons exercise, relaxation, and entertainment. But every year we hear about injury, illness, and death as a result of not being prepared, poor decision-making, and unnecessary risk-taking. New Hampshire has rugged terrain and unpredictable weather in all of its beautiful regions, including the White Mountains, valleys, lakes, rivers, and seacoast. Survival skills lessons can be incorporated into Custom ESCAPES and Group Programs, or you may book a private weekend Backpacking and North Woods Survival Clinic, or master these wilderness skills during a Wilderness Excursion Package.
