Outdoor ESCAPES New Hampshire, LLC will host a
nature tour through Franconia Notch State Park on Sunday, September 26.
Meet guide Lucie LaPlante Villeneuve Villeneuve at the Flume parking lot at 11:00 A.M. This is a
beautiful area, especially during autumn.
The paved bike path is a separate trail through
Franconia Notch—a good place to bike for those who haven’t done this
activity for a while, or want to try a “mountain bike.” Actual biking time
is about 1.5 hours (an hour uphill and ½ hour downhill). Any bike with many
gears would suit this trail. The fee for the guided tour is $35. Those who
need a bike can rent one from All Seasons Adventures in Lincoln, NH (603)
745-8600. Participants are reminded to bring bag lunch, water, camera
(optional), and dressed for the weather of the day. The tour will end by
4:00 P.M.
Outdoor ESCAPES NH is a Laconia-based
recreation guide service that leads trips all over New Hampshire. For more
