Here we have put together our most popular
Escapes...private guided adventures for individuals, couples, families, and
small groups. It's just you and your professional guide actively participating
in the fresh air of New Hampshire.
Important Information
These
adventures are designed for active folks who have had little or no
experience in the recreational activity offered, although all levels are
invited. The pace will be relaxed to allow time for skills instruction and
exploring nature. Exact location is guide's choice depending on participants
interests and abilities as well as other conditions. Backpacks, dry bags, and other gear are available to
rent, if not included in the price. See descriptions for more details.

Canoe or kayak New
Hampshire's waterways with us and discover the diversity of species we
have here in the Granite State. Whether you want to sea kayak New
Hampshire's coastal areas, or canoe or kayak remote moose ponds or easy
rapid rivers, you'll get to know wild New Hampshire. Includes pack list,
directions to meet guide, instruction if necessary, lunch, survival
tips, natural history/nature talks, possible wildlife viewing and photo
opportunities. Maximum of 8 participants. Price: $193 for first person
and $28 for each additional person, plus rentals.
tandem canoe/paddles/PFD rental (for 2 paddlers): $45; solo
sit-on-top kayak/paddle/PFD rental (for 1 paddler): $35-60.
Dry bags for
personal gear storage are included. Wetsuit
rentals may be available: $10, unless you wear layers of warm clothing. Starts between 8 and

We'll take you to the best
snow in the area so you can cover miles of winter wonderland. Your
private guide/instructor will take you on easy to moderate terrain on
scenic trails and you'll have a chance to see views, ice falls, and
animal tracks. Bring your own skis or rentals--ask us where to rent.
Includes pack list, directions to meet guide, instruction if necessary,
lunch, winter survival tips, natural history/nature talks, possible
wildlife viewing and photo opportunities.

come see the views and maybe a moose. This tour will focus on what's
wild in New Hampshire. Nature lovers will get to know local
wildlife, geology, and history of the particular area chosen by your
guide, in the White Mountains or Great North Woods. You can find animal tracks and signs, identify

unforgettable guided paddle through the Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge on the
Magalloway and Androscoggin Rivers in the
Errol, New
Hampshire area.
Spend two days on quickwater, flatwater, and optional whitewater
through moose territory, where the Abenaki natives used to call
home. Enjoy the dark starry night at a remote campsite along Lake
Umbagog or the Androscoggin River. Includes a pack list and

Float through New Hampshire's agricultural heritage and live two days of
your life with the flow of "the long river" on a chosen section between
Pittsburg and Orford, New Hampshire.
Quickwater, flatwater, and whitewater is available through the woods or

and other wildlife such as moose, deer, or mink.

trails, so little time. That's why we offer this longer trip to pack
more of them in...we'll take you into the heart of the White Mountains or
the Great North Woods. Summer and Fall
climbs can bring you above treeline if you wish. Winter and Spring treks will be in
low-lying remote areas with great scenery and points of interest. Remote
overnight accommodations vary and will depend on interests, the weather,
and pace of the group. Weather is unpredictable here, so we provide a
very serious pack list and will inspect your gear before starting out.

This adventure-packed multi-sport
get-a-way is our most requested trip for experienced
outdoorsy folks of all ages who like variety and want to expand their skills in
the wilderness of the Northern Forest. If you're a beginner, a
little instruction will get you under way.
Daytime activities
include walking/hiking, mountain biking on forest roads, and
paddling (quickwater and/or whitewater canoeing/kayaking). Optional
evening activities include a moose tour, stargazing, and
orienteering. Includes a pack list and directions to meet guide,

nights at a cabin, 7 meals,
