Woods Bicycle Tour
with Kayaking and Hiking
Discover the Northern Forest of New Hampshire from
the Canadian border to the northern White Mountains through rich farm and forest history.
Bring your bike or rental (road, hybrid,
or mountain), explore rivers, lakes, and mountains, and relax at our
favorite inns and lodges in northern New England.
Includes fully guided trip with
meals, biking, hiking,
kayaking, lodging, luggage transport, and shuttle.

Pedaling
terrain/surface will depend on the type of bicycle the group is using.
There are scenic state paved roads with designated bicycle lanes, paved
country roads, and gravel backcountry roads along the route.

DAY 1
9:00 AM Arrival at Northern Forest Heritage Park, Berlin, NH.
You'll be leaving your
vehicle at/near the B&B you'll be staying in on your last night and get
a ride in our Jeep Grand Cherokee.
12:30 PM Arrive in Pittsburg, NH. Picnic lunch and
short hike.
2:00 PM Bike "Moose Alley" to East Inlet (4.5 miles)
3:00 PM Kayak East Inlet (1 mile out and 1 mile
back) for wildlife viewing
5:00 PM Shuttle (Jeep) to Sunrise Lodge
6:00 PM Shuttle to Dinner at a nearby restaurant
DAY 2
7:30 AM Breakfast (location TBD)
9:00 AM Bike to Coleman State Park and Keazer Farm B
& B (8-12 miles). Picnic lunch along the way.
2:00 PM Options: 1) Horse trail riding, 2) mountain
hike, or 3) relax and explore the farm
6:00 PM Shuttle to Dinner at a nearby restaurant
DAY 3
7:30 AM Breakfast at Farm
9:00 AM Bike to Dixville Notch (3 miles)
10:00 AM Hike and Picnic
12:30 PM Bike to Errol (11 miles), will stay at 150
Main Street Lodging on the Androscoggin
1:30 PM Bike to Magalloway River (3 miles)
2:00 PM Kayak to Lake Umbagog...moose, bald eagles,
loons, etc. (Calm/quick water)
or Bike into Dartmouth Grant...waterfalls, wildlife, short hike
6:00 PM Shuttle to Dinner at a nearby restaurant
DAY 4
7:30 AM Breakfast--walk to nearby restaurant
9:00 AM Kayak the Androscoggin River (quickwater and
optional whitewater). Picnic lunch along the way.
2:00 PM Bike to Milan (10 miles), stopping at Pontook for
wildlife viewing
4:00 PM Shuttle to Philbrook Farm Inn in
Shelburne
5:00 PM Guides depart
Evening Dinner at Inn

AM Breakfast at Inn and departure

Destinations/Prices are subject to change without notice.
• In the case of poor bicycling conditions, alternate activities are
available at no extra charge--still a great New Hampshire experience. Anything
is possible on our adventures:
wildlife and scenic viewing, waterfalls, weather, outdoor photography,
survival skills instruction, animal tracking,
and nature &
history interpretation.
• Recreation equipment rentals included:
Kayaks, daypacks. If you are not
bringing your own bike, we can help you find rentals.
• Guided hiking and
kayaking is included (see itinerary).
• 12 Meals and snacks are included and start with dinner on Day 1 and end with
breakfast on Day 5.
• Your luggage will be transported each day to the next lodging destination.
• You will receive a pack list and directions upon registration.
• Trail/parking fees and tax are included; gratuities are not included.
